By Tom Brockman | Jul 25, 2022

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½) invites members of the campus and surrounding communities to attend several on-campus lectures scheduled to take place during the 2022-23 academic year related to its fall seminar series and annual celebration of Dominican saints.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s Center for Dominican Studies will present a series of lectures this fall that focuses on the university’s academic theme for the upcoming academic year: What is our call to justice and peace? Each of the four lectures in the series will be presented or led by an º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ faculty member. The presentations listed below are free and open to the public; however, seating is limited. To reserve your seat for each session, contact Sr. Diane Traffas, OP, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Vice President for Mission and Identity and Director of the Center for Dominican Studies, at traffasd@ohiodominican.edu or 614-251-4722.

In addition to the fall seminar series, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ will host its three annual lectures celebrating the feast days of St. Albert the Great, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Catherine of Siena. Each lecture will be presented by a Dominican Sister of Peace, representing º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s founding congregation. These presentations also are free and open to the public; however, registration is not required beforehand.
