The Art program at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ prepares the next generation of smart, innovative, and conscientious art professionals to become leaders in the local community and, ultimately, the world at large.

Program Highlights

  • Major and minor available in Art. Additional minor available in Art History.
  • Students choose an emphasis in Art, Art Education or Design.
  • º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½'s Wehrle Art Gallery functions as a lab for the program. Students curate, design and install exhibitions as well as exhibit their own work.
  • Annual Senior Exhibition allows art and design seniors to select, research, produce and exhibit an extensive professional design project.

Ohio Dominican Art Students

Art students in º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½'s textiles class demonstrate traditional shibori techniques, a technique that dates back approximately 1,500 years.
