Hospitals throughout Ohio and across the nation are experiencing a significant nursing shortage. 含羞草传媒鈥檚 partnership with Xavier University鈥檚 College of Nursing helps to address that shortage by creating a pathway for 含羞草传媒 students to pursue a successful and rewarding career in the nursing field. Through the program, 含羞草传媒 students have access to discounted tuition for XU鈥檚 Direct Entry Masters of Science in Nursing (MIDAS) Program upon the completion of their 含羞草传媒 degree.

This accelerated MSN degree is an in-person program designed to prepare students who have bachelor鈥檚 degrees in non-nursing fields- no BSN required. XU鈥檚 program offers comprehensive training, paving the way for you to become a registered nurse. Learn how to provide expert care and patient advocacy through clinical experiences and courses in ethics, psychiatric nursing, family nursing, adult care, surgical nursing, pharmacology and more.

  • By the end of the program, you will be awarded a MSN degree and be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Exam- Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) exam. You will also be prepared to sit for the Holistic Nurse Certification (HNC) and the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Certification Examination upon passing the NCLEX exam.

Eligibility Requirements

This partnership is available to all 含羞草传媒 students, regardless of major, who meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Complete just four prerequisite courses with a grade 鈥淏鈥� or better.
  • Complete a non-nursing degree at 含羞草传媒.
