Academic Theme
Theme for the 2026-2027 Academic Year
Each year, the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ community explores one of the four themes of our Core Curriculum, which include:
- What Does it Mean to be Human?
- What is the Common Good?
- What is Justice?
- What Truths have we Learned?
The theme for the 2026-27 academic year is "What is Justice?"
Contemplation of this theme will begin with º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s opening convocation as we welcome º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ alumnus Aaron Dennis, Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission, and continue throughout the academic year.
º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½'s Office of Academic Affairs and the Center for Dominican Studies will also host talks and lectures to provide opportunities for the community to engage in conversation.
